  • Juice of half a lemon

While talking to my American friend who lives in New York, I was really impressed by very visibly healthy glowing complexion. My memories of visiting New York as a tourist range from car fumes, super sized portions of food and a lifestyle that seemed so fast that even as a busy Londoner I felt overwhelmed on my first visit and this showed mostly in my complexion.

When I asked my friend about how to get this glow, the response was a very immediate and confident ‘organic’ food. The simple equation of cleaner on the inside, cleaner on the outside coupled with a raw apple cider vinegar cleanse.

All my natural health friends living the U.S. tell me their favourite brand of apple cider vinegar with 'the mother' is by BRAGG., I also discovered the Biona brand available in the U.K. which is almost the same however users of the BRAGG brand feel it is far more superior. If you live outside of the U.S. BRAGG apple cider vinegar is available to buy online.

Raw apple cider vinegar that is unfiltered, unheated, unpasteurized and has at least 5% acidity containing the ‘Mother of Vinegar’, which occurs naturally as strand-like enzymes of connected protein molecules is most effective.

When I tried this remedy, it cleared congestion and inflammation. It acted fast on sinus related matters. Please note that everyone has a different body constitution and so it’s best to consult with your doctor or nutritionist before trying this or any other natural medicine recipe.

To protect teeth from acidity, use a straw to drink.

It’s up to you how often you want to drink this, depending on your body, health and lifestyle. I tired this once a day for a month. Personally I love the simplicity and cost effectiveness of this home preparation!

Before Bio Facelift and Microneedling Collagen treatments, I sometimes use apple cider vinegar with a cotton pad to deep cleanse the skin and gently remove  dry skin cells.

Have you got your own way of getting the most out of apple cider vinegar? I'd love to know your recipe or ritual!
